You can just draw the character (detail or not) first and then use (Gaussian Blur or any other blur types) and set it on your own like, be aware though that blurring the layers can make your device slower

Just tried that, but the styles of blur that my softwares wouldn't really fit in the style of the comic, I'm afraid.
I am reaching for a "there is no *real* blur, everything is still clearly in discrete areas" style.
Maybe I should lay off the blur idea in future pages lol
